About Sara Wolff


Sara Wolff's Resume

OBJECTIVE

To be a dedicated advocate for individuals with Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities, promoting awareness and understanding among educators, employers, and community professionals, through personal appearances and speaking engagements.

FAMILY

Daughter of Dennis and Connie Wolff, Siblings include my brother Jeff who is married to Karen and their six children are named Emma, Caroline, John, Sarah, Mary Clare, and Henry Hartman Wolff. I have a sister, Jennifer who is now married to Dan Motichka, and another brother, Randy who is married to Marla and their 2 children Mariah Rose, Evan Robert Wolff. Godmother to Sarah Margaret & Mariah Rose Wolff.


EMPLOYMENT

Keystone Community Resources -  Office of Advocacy  -  2010 - Present

Performs all duties and responsibilities expected in the field of advocacy work.

 

Law Clerk - O’Malley and Langan, P.C. Scranton, Pa  2000 - Present

Performs all duties and responsibilities expected of a law clerk, including, typing, filing, mail distribution, research and office projects.

Received O’Malley and Langan Team Player Award in 2001.

 

St. Mary’s Villa Nursing Home - Moscow, Pa  1999 - 2000                                              

Performed duties related to the position of Hospitality Aide.

Services provided to residents  included bed making, assisting with meals, transporting residents within facility, activities, and assisting in physical therapy sessions.

EDUCATION

Fully included student from preschool programming through high school graduation and presently attending college level courses.  

North Pocono High School - Moscow, Pa  1998-2002

During freshman year of high school made honor roll for two quarters.

Throughout high school career participated in several activities including the marching and concert band,  girls basketball team manager, member of the interact service club and  participated in the Variety Show for 4 years. 

Senior Project: Organized the first Buddy Walk in Lackawanna County 

Voted Most Inspirational by peers in graduating class.

Received Outstanding Achievement Award at Honors Banquet.

$     Has spoken and helped organize annual Buddy Walks, 2002-2007

$     Spoke at local Rotary Club and Kiwanis Club promoting Buddy Walk

$     Received Citizen of the Year Award, Moscow Borough’s First Annual Night Out, 2004

$     Altar server and presently a Lector at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Moscow, Pa

$     Member of the Youth Choir and received Bishop’s Youth Ministry Award in 2002
